What will be the future of the printed newspaper? This session examines the possible options that lie ahead for the industry - new formats, new niches, new products and new audiences. Already newspapers are exploring many new ways of re-packaging their content, targeting audiences in new ways and delivering demographic- specific audiences with a high advertising value and low wastage.


The conference will also include the presentation ceremony for the 2008 World Young Reader Prize, sponsored by Norske Skog, the global paper producer, as part of its support for WAN's Newspapers in Education Development Project.
